Snow Removal Anchorage Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of northernsnowremoval.co and any services provided by Northern Snow Removal (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a locally owned and operated contractor serving Anchorage, AK. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms in full.

Services Provided

Northern Snow Removal provides professional snow removal, roofing repair and maintenance services to residential and commercial customers in Anchorage and the surrounding communities. Specific services, scope, and scheduling are agreed upon prior to commencing work.

Quotes and Estimates

All quotes and estimates provided by Northern Snow Removal — whether submitted through our online form, communicated by phone, or delivered in writing — are non-binding until you and a company representative have mutually agreed to the scope and price in writing or verbally confirmed the work order.

Quotes are based on conditions visible at the time of assessment. Additional charges may apply if unforeseen conditions are discovered once work begins. We will notify you before proceeding with any work beyond the original scope.

Payment Terms

• Payment is due upon completion of services unless a separate billing arrangement has been agreed upon in writing.
• We accept cash, check, and electronic payment methods as specified at the time of service.
• Accounts past due by more than 30 days may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
• Commercial and recurring-service customers may be invoiced on a monthly cycle as agreed in their service contract.

Scheduling and Weather

Scheduling is subject to availability and the unpredictable Alaska weather. We make every reasonable effort to honor scheduled appointments; however:

• Severe weather, road closures, or safety hazards may delay or reschedule service. We will contact you as soon as practicable.
• Roofing work may be postponed due to unsafe weather conditions at our sole discretion.
• Emergency snow removal is provided on a best-effort basis; response times may vary during high-volume storm events.
• We are not liable for delays caused by acts of nature, governmental action, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Customer Responsibilities

To ensure safe and effective service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate property information and ensure reasonable access to the work area.
• Notify us of any underground utilities, irrigation systems, or buried obstacles before snow removal or roofing begins.
• Ensure pets and persons are clear of the work area during service.
• Notify us promptly of any concerns or unsatisfactory work so we have the opportunity to correct it.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Northern Snow Removal’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for: (a) indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; (b) damage to underground or hidden structures or utilities not disclosed to us prior to work; (c) pre-existing conditions on the property; or (d) damage caused by ice, snow accumulation, or weather events outside our control.

Warranties

We stand behind our workmanship. If you are unsatisfied with completed work, please notify us within 48 hours and we will return to address the issue at no additional charge. This workmanship commitment does not cover: (a) new snowfall or weather events occurring after service completion; (b) damage caused by third parties; or (c) pre-existing property defects.

Materials used in roofing repairs may carry manufacturer warranties; those warranties are separate from and in addition to our workmanship commitment. Specific warranty terms will be provided in writing for roofing projects.

Licensing and Insurance

Northern Snow Removal is licensed and insured in the State of Alaska. Proof of insurance is available upon request. Our team operates all equipment in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alaska, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Anchorage, Alaska, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction there.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
